Engine System | Purpose |
Lubrication System | Supply lubrication and cooling oil to the main engine bearings and accessory drives |
Fuel System | To supply fuel at the proper pressures and flow rates to support combustion |
Bleed System | To permit operational flexibility by minimizing the possibility of compressor stall when the compressor system is operating at off-design speeds |
Ignition System | To provide a high intensity spark for ignition of the fuel under all operating conditions |
Anti-Icing System | Prevent icing of the fan inlet case and guidevane assemblies |
Engine Indicating Systems | Sensing exhaust gas temperature and total turbine discharge pressure |
