Engine Control System Components

Tabel 1.1
Engine System Purpose
Lubrication System Supply lubrication and cooling oil to the main engine bearings and accessory drives
Fuel System To supply fuel at the proper pressures and flow rates to support combustion
Bleed System To permit operational flexibility by minimizing the possibility of compressor stall when the compressor system is operating at off-design speeds
Ignition System To provide a high intensity spark for ignition of the fuel under all operating conditions
Anti-Icing System Prevent icing of the fan inlet case and guidevane assemblies
Engine Indicating Systems Sensing exhaust gas temperature and total turbine discharge pressure

Aircraft Engine Control System Description

Engine control systems required for engine operation are discussed in this section of the blog. The presentation of each system will include the components and their function, sequence of flow and the authorized adjustments. Detailed descriptions of components can be found in the system description. Components that will be discussed are shown in the table 1.1
